KitKat time

In case you're not familiar with Kitkat's slogan, it is, "Have a break, have a KitKat!" That's exactly what I've been doing, taking a tiny little break from reading, it won't last long.

In the mean time, I've posted the following random shots on Instagram.

Before I fell in love with 'The Darkest Minds' by Alexandra Bracken, my favourite series was 'The Infernal Devices' by Cassandra Clare. Ever since then, I've been collecting all of her books and have allocated a whole shelf just for them. In fact, one of my goals for 2020 was to finish reading all of Cassandra Clare's books which might not be possible since she still has books to publish next year. Maybe I'll rephrase the goal to, "Finish reading all of Cassandra Clare's published books".

I couldn't help myself when I found Shadowhunter candles online, I just had to get them and I did! I've zoomed in on them just to show them off. :p Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs are my favourite characters, next to Tessa of course. My heart beats with joy whenever I come across their characters in the other books, I wish they were real. Haha!

This is a photo of my "Books to read" page from my bullet journal. I just started a bullet journal close to the end of last year and I've been loving it ever since. It helps so much to discipline myself, maintain good habits and keep track of my goals.

I have a goal to read 3 books per month to help accomplish my Goodreads challenge of 30 books for the year and it's been going great so far - I've got just 10 more books to read to beat the challenge! I usually end up reading more than 3 books per month so I have another page in my bujo for "Extra reads".

I don't like this photo too much but it shows most of the books I've read this year. I've read 20 and there are 7 missing from the photo because 2 of them were e-books and 1 of them was an audio book while my sister has borrowed 1 book and I've sold the rest because I did not like them. Yes, I disown books I don't like, why keep them anyway?

I've ordered a copy of 'Through the dark' by Alexandra Bracken over a month ago but it hasn't arrived. It's a novella that I'm hoping will satiate my craving for more of the story. I hope it eventually arrives, sigh.

I had a crazy thought today: If I died of boredom due to the isolation that this virus has caused, would I be considered a COVID-19 victim?

I can't wait for everything to go back to normal, I'm beginning to feel imprisoned.
